BTS Will Present At The 2019 Grammy’s

BTS will be getting their Grammys debut in 2019. Big Hit Entertainment has verified that fan favorites Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jin, Jimin, V and Jungkook will be presenting an award at this year’s ceremony. Their appearance on February 10th will also mark their dazzling debut at the prestigious awards ceremony.

In 2018, during an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Suga stated that going to the Grammys was a big goal of the group, and earlier today, it was confirmed that the boys would be getting their wish.

While they won’t be performing, and they (or rather, their album design company) are only nominated in the artistic category for Best CD Package, the opportunity represents a hugely historic moment for both the boy band and K-Pop as a genre.

Twitter  has already blown up with excitement and anticipation for BTS’ Grammys adventure. The hashtag BTSXGrammys is already appearing everywhere as ARMY voices adoration, joy, and occasionally righteousness and vindication!

Many fans expressed a prediction that BTS even being invited to the Grammy’s is a sign that the music industry is recognizing and celebrating K-Pop. They believe that this first step means that the group will be nominated and start collecting awards as early as next year.

In any case, BTS has already proven itself to be an international phenomenon and their mainstream recognition will only increase with this Grammys appearance.

Performers and guests at the awards show this year will include Camila Cabello, Cardi B, Janelle Monáe, Miley Cyrus, H.E.R., Brandi Carlile, Shawn Mendes, Kacey Musgraves, Dan + Shay and Post Malone with the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Multiple Grammy-award winner Alicia Keys will be hosting the festivities!
