Hwang Jung-min (황정민) is a Korean actor who studied theater at Seoul Institute of the Arts. After university, he began his acting career in theater, but transitioned to film in 2001 with the film "Waikiki Brothers".
Hwang's big break was when he landed the lead role in "A Good Lawyer's Wife", a film about a lawyer in an extra-marital affair, and his wife, who looks for someone else out of frustration. Some of his other films include "Bloody Tie", "Five Senses of Eros", and "In My End is My Beginning".
He is married to Kim Mi-hye, and together they have one son.
