This rookie group made a huge splash in 2015 with their smash, Ah-Choo!
What may be interesting to new Kpoppers will be how each group assigns roles for each member. For instance, most groups will have a leader, who is ostensibly the most responsible and most likely the oldest, to keep the group on track. There is also a main vocalist, not to be confused with the lead vocalist, then just the plain vocalist. The lead vocalist is the one with the best voice, then main and so on.
This hierarchy will be assigned to the dancers and rappers as well. So each member will frequently wear many hats that speak to their specialties. Perhaps more odd is that each group will assign a “Face” or “Visual” for the prettiest member(s) who you will usually see at the center of most group photos and will see plenty of face time on the MVs.
Check out KPOP GIRL EUROPE’s profile of the Lovelyz and see if you agree with the group’s selection of their “Face.” My vote is on Kei.
