A quiet and non-aggressive boy Ryota Hayama has no close friends. He is a type of boy who looks outside from the classroom window alone and a bit left over from others. He has no interests in others and do not say “no” when someone ask him for help. Therefore, he is given a nick name “Jesus (Yes in Japanese pronounciation)” for being generous to everyone. One day, he happened to join school athletic festival with Koharu Uemura to compete the “Komebukuro Jump” race together. She is his classmate who is outspoken and as bright as a sun energetic girl. The characters of the two were opposite. At first, the training of the race went difficult but in the real race, Hayama turned his somewhat switch on and won the race. Hayama was happy ant then, Koharu suddenly confessed him. “I decided to myself that I will tell you if we would be in the first place…will you be my boyfriend?”

Two polar-opposite high school students are brought together by a sack race -- but will life in the real world break them apart?

Ryota and Koharu are high school students. Ryota is indifferent to people and says very little. Koharu is not afraid of to speak her mind and she has a bright personality. Since a game of rice bag jump, they begin to date. They date at a fast-food restaurant, realize they love each other at a family restaurant and finally swear their love on a dining table with white rice.
